Plot
The country is shocked when, one by one, famous television personalities disappear into thin air. Sonia Norton, owner of a popular talk show, does not hesitate to call it “an unprecedented attack on the heart of the nation.” Lucia Allasco, former police inspector, is called into service and partnered with an old colleague, Franco Berardi. Little-by-little Lucia and Franco notice a direct link between the Sonia Norton Show and the missing people. The investigation will lead to the discovery of an underwater world where physical appearance counts more than anything else… and where the mildest of men can be transformed into the most ruthless of murderers.
Review
The film is coherent and gripping, the psychological paths are sick and twisted, the journey from the small world of sensationalistic and intrusive media to the reality of “made in Italy,” is tragically apparent with its high expectations and falseness.
