Plot
Coinciding with the Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, David, a filmmaker, flies to Havana to shoot a Cuban remake of ‘The Bicycle Thief’. He arrives on the same flight as a heterogeneous group of Italians whose stories become intertwined with his. Written jointly by Paolo Virzì, Francesco Bruni, David Riondino, and Roberto Duiz, this tropical road-trip comedy hinges on the adage that life imitates art.
Review
The film is interesting and is made with a fair dose of irony, on the basis of a seesawing story in which different characters make their own stories that sometimes intertwine.
