The third star La terza stella
Plot
In a small village in the Italian countryside, preparations are underway for the annual game of live chess. The whole town is involved: from the doctor to the perfume vendor, from the butcher to Ale and Franz. The two in-laws could not be more different: Ale is the thoughtful and rational owner of a two-star hotel, while Franz, who works in a prison, is quirky and naive. Their coexistence, already difficult, is severely tested by the arrival in town of three shady characters who will soon involve them, against their will, in a series of hilarious adventures.
Review
The absence of a swear word and even remotely naughty situations are characteristics that make this film suitable even for children. Throughout the script are the inevitable comedy duo gags, but also many other characters that turn the film into a comedy ensemble.
