Plot
It is July 31. Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo depart Milan to join their families in Puglia. Aldo and Giovanni are married to two sisters, and Giacomo is engaged to the third. The three work at the “Paradise of Brugola”, their father-in-law’s shop – a man who tyrannizes them both at work and at home. During the ups and downs and travails of their journey, including meeting a woman named Chiara, they come to realize how petty their lives are and determine to radically change this.
Review
Thanks to co-author Massimo Venier (a four-author collaboration, a record!) and his screenwriter friends Gherarducci and Martignoni, the three main performers write and recite a story that retains the implausibility of film, inspired by the road movie genre, with a summer trip from Milan to Gallipoli.
